What data does Baselayer Auto.Complete return?

Auto.Complete searches the same Secretary of State registrations that power Baselayer's business search. Each suggestion includes:

• Business name, plus the DBA or other name that matched what the applicant typed

• Home (domicile) state and the other states the business is registered in

• Business structure, for example LLC, corporation or sole proprietorship

• Related people and addresses, so the applicant can recognise their business

• A token that identifies exactly that business. Pass it to your business search so KYB runs on the right entity.

A suggestion is a quick way to identify a business, not a full report. The KYB rating, TIN match, watchlist screening, liens and the rest of the profile come from the business search you run on the selected business.
