What does the "verified" field mean?

The "verification" layer takes into consideration not just the exactness of the match, but the status and standing of the SOS registrations. Therefore, even when the name and address matches are exact, a business can be “unverified" if the status is unknown or inactive.

Generally, verified businesses get a KYB rating of A-B and unverified businesses get C-F. We recommend reviewing business that are unverified.
