Why do my web presence coverage rates look low?

Last updated: September 15, 2026

The two most common reasons:

  • Non-US businesses submitted without a country code. A request is treated as US unless you set the two-letter country code, so a Canadian or UK business searched as US will match poorly or not at all.

  • The business has little public web presence. Very small, new, or home-based businesses often have no website, no reviews, and no business social profiles. For these, a low coverage rate reflects reality rather than a gap in the search.

Two things raise coverage: include the website when the applicant provides one, and include a DBA or trade name in alternative names when the legal name is generic. Web presence is often stronger under the name customers know.

International web presence is supported. Set the country code on each non-US request, or choose the country in the console.
