What does website_analysis include?

Last updated: September 26, 2026

Two objects describe websites, and it matters which one you read:

  • website_analysis: analysis of the website we found for the business.

  • input_website_analysis: analysis of the website you submitted. When the two are the same site, both are populated with the same analysis.

Each analysis includes:

  • Build status (website_build_status): active, coming soon, or inactive.

    • active means the page has real business content.

    • coming_soon means the site is intentionally pre-launch, with only under-construction or launching-soon messaging.

    • inactive means the site is not functioning: suspended or expired accounts, parked or for-sale domains, hosting provider placeholders, or error pages.

  • Domain details: when the domain was registered, its age in months, and when it was last updated and expires, from the WHOIS record.

  • Security and reachability: SSL certificate validity, whether the domain is parked, and whether the URL redirects and where.

  • Contact details found on the site: addresses, phone numbers, emails, and social profile links. These feed the match fields.

  • Email deliverability: whether the website’s domain is configured to receive email at all (it has mail server records). A domain with no mail setup is unusual for an operating business.

  • Structure: depth (0 = nothing crawled, 1 = homepage only, 2+ = homepage plus subpages) and breadth (number of unique pages found, up to 15+).

  • A screenshot of the homepage.
