How do I request a Delaware UCC search?

Delaware is different from every other state. The Delaware Secretary of State does not release recent UCC filings to any data provider, so our Delaware data, like everyone’s, lags by a few months. A filing recorded in roughly the last 3-4 months will not appear in a standard lien search.

For anything recent, Delaware requires a certified search run directly against the state. We can run one for you:

1. Send us the exact legal name of the debtor and, if you have it, the Delaware file number.

2. We run the certified search and return the state’s report, which lists every active filing of record under that name.

3. The state fee is passed through at cost on your monthly invoice. We will confirm the current fee before running it.

A standard lien search with Delaware selected is still useful for older filings and for Delaware entities you are monitoring over time.
